Professional Growth and Personal Development for Educators K-12.

Taos is perhaps one of the most intriguing multicultural villages in America; as well, a world renowned art and literary colony. This small New Mexican mountain village has attracted artists, writers, historians, anthropologists, educators, social thinkers, and visionaries from around the globe. It is here you shall discover the rich cultural legacies of our Native American, Spanish, Mexican, and Anglo inhabitants. In this setting far from the madding crowds, one truly gets a sense of other-worldly time, location, light, and inspiration. A week amid the Taos surround for professional growth and personal development is truly a rare course for all educators.

On these pages, you shall discover how I have creatively designed the finest in learning vacations, lodging, and cultural expeditions! Our Taos and Santa Fe “classrooms” are Indian Pueblos, Spanish haciendas, museums, significant cultural sites/events, select galleries/artist studios, private homes, and Earthships! You will personally meet those written about in the books and descendants of historically prominent families who have contributed immensely to the history, literary traditions, arts, and cultural legacies of the Southwest.

The format of each course is co-creative in nature. The itinerary allows for individual exploration, off the beaten path travel opportunities, and far from the typical “tour group” experience. I have artistically fashioned these courses for educators who value educational travel, history, literature, the arts, and divergent multicultural experiential studies. In that the content of my classes are multidisciplinary, there is relevance for all K-12 teachers and administrators. You shall enjoy a course itinerary and tempo that is refreshing, reflective, relaxed, rejuvenating! You shall experience uncommon personal and professional enrichment in a shared mission to celebrate and preserve cultural legacies!
