Casa de los Pasajeros (House of the Wayfarers) is a ten minute stroll from the historic Taos Plaza along Kit Carson Road . Casa de los Pasajeros has two houses on the property: the Guest House and the Main house (see below). It is situated on a quarter acre, well appointed with seven large apple trees, lush grounds, and lovely flowering gardens. High latilla fences surround the property affording a delightful in-town oasis that is tucked-away from the street. Here you will find a sway of quietude and authenticity only steps away from El Monte Sagrado Resort and Spa. Lovely portals, outdoor sitting areas, chimineas, and even a horno for baking bread in the old-world tradition!

Casa de los Pasajeros has been artistically designed as the primary seminar site for Studies in Taos . It is from here we depart daily into the Taos mosaic after our morning opening sessions on the lawns. When enrollments exceed capacity of Casa de los Pasajeros, I refer students to other lodging nearby. Your choices are Burch Street Casitas (right around the corner); Several B&B's a ten minute walk away; As well, the Taos Inn and Hotel La Fonda on the Plaza. If you desire to experience an Earthship vacation rental for a novel experience (two guests) please view: www.heliohouse.com
